**Bilingual Workshop** 
Dance and the National Curriculum: with Prydwen Elfed-Owens, ESTYN Inspector & Chair of Welsh Folk Dance Society

About this event

This day will focus specifically on working within schools and satisfying the requirements of the National Curriculum at Key Stage One. Prydwen will look at ways to achieve these criteria while delivering lively, enjoyable and creative dance activities to inspire children for later life. 

As a school inspector Prydwen knows exactly what to look for in a school's dance provision and will be a mine of information for us all. Prydwen will be focussing on her specialist field of Welsh folk dance, but her methods can be interpreted through other dance styles. 

This promises to be fun as well as a useful day (Prydwen has requested that we provide her with percussion instruments...!) 

The workshop will be taught in Welsh and English.
