3 day intensive workshop with Pierre Rubio

Pierre Rubio is a choreographer from Belgium who has developed his work through an eclectic pathway, articulating multiple experiences in choreography, performance flash - art, literature, visual art and improvisation. 

Through his research, he has developed his own aestheticism. He works with a conceptual approach through choreography and has an energetic but precise dance style and a critical perspective towards culture. 

The participants will be introduced to recent methods of choreographic composition, which have been developed and strongly influenced contemporary dance in the past decade - done through 3 themes: the object, the discourse and the mental landscape.

Each day will conclude with discussion / exchange / debate - allowing participants to gain a better understanding of the various elements explored during the day.
